Job Summary
A Meter Apprentice Installs, tests, maintains and removes electric metering equipment in a safe and efficient manner, and ensures favorable customer company relations.
Job Responsibilities
+ Install, test, maintain, and remove distribution, transmission, substation, and communication metering equipment operated at 600 volts or less:
+ install, test, maintain, and remove meters and metering transformers and other types of metering equipment
+ install and remove recording ammeters, varmeters, voltmeters, and wattmeters
+ calibrate watt hour standards
