Overview:

• Grind, deburr, sand, brush, blend, and polish fabricated metal parts
• Produce consistent finishes to customer specs
• Remove weld discoloration, scratches, burrs, and surface imperfections
• Read blueprints, travelers, and work instructions
• Inspect finished parts for cosmetic, dimensional, and quality standards
• Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, grinders, sanders, and polishing equipment safely
• Select appropriate abrasives, pads, and compounds by material/finish type
• Verify work with calipers, tape measures, squares, and finish samples

Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or GED Manufacturing/metal fabrication experience preferred Experience with stainless steel finishing, polishing, grinding, or deburring preferred Blueprint-reading ability Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Safe use of hand/power tools Basic mat...
