Job Description
Lead metadata initiatives at American University as a Metadata Coordinator. Manage creation, enhancement, and loading of metadata for digital collections while collaborating with key stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
The Metadata Coordinator will supervise one Resource Description Specialist and collaborate with the Director of Technical Services and Head Archivist on special collections projects. You'll oversee metadata workflows and ensure project documentation and quality control, implementing best practices and metadata strategies across library platforms.
