Job Description
Become a part-time Psychiatrist with CMHAPeel Dufferin at the HART Hub in Brampton. This critical role focuses on consultation and developing treatment plans for clients confronting mental illness, addiction, and homelessness.
You will work three days a week, including two in-person client visits and one day for team meetings, with potential for hybrid arrangements. This opportunity aims to enhance support for vulnerable populations and requires a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend in-person clinical visitation clinics two times weekly
• Develop treatment plans with clients and families
• Submit clinical notes promptly after consultations
• Interact with the multidisciplinary team between visits
• Assist with transitioning clients to primary care psychiatrists
Requirements:
• Medical Degree and Fellowship (FRCP) necessary
• Registration with Ontario's Physicians and Surgeons College
• Experience with culturally diverse populations
