JOB SUMMARY: The Mental Health Clinician reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Supervisor of the Behavioural Unit or designate within the Social Services Child and Family Prevention Program. The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing assessment, service planning and in relation to mental health issues and for providing therapeutic intervention and support to individuals, children, youth and their families. The Mental Health Clinician shall participate in the development, delivery and evaluation of programs and activities that enhance child, youth, and family wellness, leading to a restoration of strong families.
