Medical Laboratory Technician

JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a current Generalist or Specialty Certification and possess hands-on experience in Hematology and Blood Bank. This role involves performing high complexity testing in compliance with CLIA standards, ensuring accurate and timely results, and contributing to the training and development of new staff.Key Responsibilities

Collect patient specimens.

Utilize the Information System for patient intake, sample ordering, test result entry, documentation, and reporting.

Perform lab tests in hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, blood bank, or microbiology using automated and manual methods.

Analyze test results for validity and accuracy before releasing to the chart.

Ensure turnaround times are met and critical results are reported and documented appropriately.
