Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing & Medical Records Specialist to support our personal injury team. Responsibilities include:

• Request and obtain medical records, billing records, itemized bills, affidavits, and notarized affidavits from medical providers.
  
• Follow up with providers, hospitals, imaging centers, pharmacies, and record vendors to ensure timely receipt of documents.
  
• Verify provider balances and confirm outstanding amounts by phone, email, and provider portals.
  
• Review medical records and billing documents for completeness, accuracy, and discrepancies.
  
• Skim and analyze medical records to identify key information efficiently.
  
• Extract and summarize accident-related injuries from medical records.
  
• Identify and document unrelated or pre-existing medical conditions.
