This position will have blended MA and PSR duties



Required Qualifications:

• years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting

• Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program

• HSD/GED

• Flu vaccination (no exemptions/no declinations)

• BLS (AHA or ARC only)

• Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture

• Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans



Job Duties:

• Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record

• Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data

• Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice

• Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs
