UPMC Vision Institute is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our team at 1622 Locust Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. This position works daylight hours Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, with shift start times varying based on clinic schedules. The Medical Assistant will play an important role in providing high-quality patient care by assisting physicians with intravitreal injections, minor procedures, and laser treatments, while also supporting clinic operations through medication inventory management, chart documentation, instrument sterilization, and preparation of exam and procedure rooms. Additional responsibilities include assisting with direct patient care and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.
