Description

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a skilled, adaptable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant Float to provide clinical and administrative support across multiple outpatient practice locations within the region. This role is responsible for delivering direct patient care, supporting providers during clinical visits, facilitating efficient patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and coordinating patient care services. As a float team member, the Medical Assistant will travel between practice sites and must be comfortable with same-day schedule changes to meet staffing and patient care needs.

The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and clinical support by obtaining vital signs, collecting patient histories, reconciling medications, assisting with procedures, coordinating tests and referrals, and maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
