Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferred Associate degree in data entry/word processing, or six months of specialized training in the same
+ Expert Knowledge of medical billing, including but not limited to Medicaid Reimbursement
+ Knowledge and experience working with Excel, Access, Word, and Google Suite Programs
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education
JOB GOAL: Performs billing functions necessary to access federal and state funds to receive funding reimbursement. Assist the Director and Associate Director of Special Education with the coordination of Speech, OT, and PT services, of all Medicaid reimbursement programs.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Data entry to bill Medicaid for any service delivered, including, but not limited to, vision, private duty nursing, personal care aides, and administrative coding.
