Job Description
- Write and test software using LabVIEW, Python and C+.
- Design, specify and develop integrated test equipment, including building of rigs.
- Integrate test rig components, including water reservoirs, piping, solenoid valves, proportional control valves, servo-controlled valves, pressure/vacuum sensors and power supply.
- Use NI data acquisition hardware and embedded hardware (e.g. Arduino) for test system control, monitoring, and data acquisition.
- Diagnose failures, identify root causes and implement effective hardware and/or software corrective actions.
- Read, create, and maintain test rig documentation including electrical wiring diagrams and instrumentation layouts.
- Experienced in implementing modern manufacturing methods (Six sigma, Lean Manufacturing & ATE) and effectively apply them to reduce lead times and subsequently improve quality, on-time delivery and cost to the customer.
