Job Description
- Supervise daily mechanical site activities, including equipment installation, alignments, and pre-commissioning
- Lead and supervise a team of fitters, welders, and mechanical workers daily
- Plan and allocate daily manpower, tools, and materials to meet project targets
- Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating and stationary equipment
- Direct and train technicians, assign daily tasks, and coordinate with external contractors or vendors
- Carry out troubleshooting and rectification of mechanical faults/breakdowns on site
- Oversee installation, alignment, testing & commissioning of pumps, motors, gearboxes, piping, HVAC, generators, and mechanical equipment
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols, ensuring safety permits are in place and hazards are mitigated
