Mechanical Project Engineer

Overview

Our Mechanical Engineering team is looking for a Project Engineer to lead complex, high-impact mechanical projects across the Wellington Region. The role involves coordinating with electrical and civil teams, managing multidisciplinary systems, and driving mechanical delivery from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of mechanical equipment and systems, including pumps, pipework, valves, rotating equipment, and process plant.
• Oversee mechanical procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout, and develop and manage QA documentation, ITPs, FAT/SAT, and commissioning plans.
• Coordinate multiple projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements, including programme development, sequencing, methodologies, and look‑ahead schedules.
