A well-established manufacturing business operating within a highly automated process environment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to play a key role in improving plant reliability, equipment performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your new role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will provide mechanical and hydraulic engineering support across the site, carrying out fault-finding, reliability improvement and maintenance activities on critical production equipment. You will lead and support engineering projects, equipment upgrades andmissioning activities, whilst driving continuous improvement and minimising downtime across the facility.
