Mechanical Fitters Required - Blackburn Meadows Power Station | Sheffield

We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to support a planned maintenance project at Blackburn Meadows Power Station, Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled mechanical fitters to secure a short-term contract on a major industrial site.

Duration: 7th June - 18th June

Digs Provided for travelling contractors

Scope of Works

• Removal, overhaul, and replacement of gearboxes
• Removal, overhaul, and replacement of drive shafts on rotary equipment
• Bearing changes
• Belt changes
• General mechanical fitting and maintenance work across the site

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in mechanical fitting within industrial, power generation, manufacturing, or process environments
• Experience working on:
  • Rotary equipment
  • Gearboxes ...
