Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter – Salary: £35,000 (£40,000 - £42,000 OTE). Overtime, progressive training, and bonuses offered.

Overview

This is a hands‑on, static role in Stroud. You will help build, install, and maintain equipment fitted to a specialist vehicle, using tools to assemble pumps, valves, and pipework. You will inspect systems for faults, carry out repairs, and ensure everything operates smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install fluid transfer systems.
• Carry out maintenance, fault‑finding, and repair.
• Perform a static role in the vehicle.

Qualifications

• Background in pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe bending or similar.
• Mechanical background.
• Commutable to Stroud.
