Job Description
Become a crucial part of the Bruce Power site as a Mechanical Engineer focusing on the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program. Your work will support the design and implementation of specialized tooling for reactor units.
In this position, you'll be responsible for tooling design, vendor liaison, and documentation in compliance with nuclear standards. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering is required. Your efforts will ensure that reactor refurbishments are executed safely and efficiently with a hands-on approach to site support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Modify tooling for reactor disassembly and reassembly
• Perform site walk-downs to validate mechanical systems
• Generate compliance documentation and engineering evaluations
• Collaborate with vendors and support procurement reviews
• Assess supplier work scopes regularly
