Role OverviewThe main function of a mechanical engineer is to research and investigate the design, functionality, and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes. This role requires the ability to create engineering drawings and interpret blueprints to support product development and manufacturing.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices.
Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the time and cost feasibility of projects.
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operations and provide recommendations to maintenance crews.
