Job Description
Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, inspection, operation, and maintenance of all mechanical systems within the coliseum. This includes HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, ventilation, cooling systems, and other mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous facility operations during events and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical Systems Oversight
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Ensure proper operation of HVAC systems for large crowd capacity.
Monitor ventilation systems to maintain indoor air quality.
Oversee chilled water systems, pumps, and cooling towers (if applicable).
2. Maintenance & Preventive Programs
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
