Position: Mechanical Engineer (B+P Canada) – responsible for mechanical design, construction administration and field inspections across commercial, institutional and light industrial projects.
Location: Markham/Thornhill, hybrid work model with occasional travel to nearby cities.
Major Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical project design and construction administration.
- Develop primary design and detailed design from concept to final drawings.
- Design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and controls systems; perform HVAC calculations with Carrier HAP.
- Conduct design drawing reviews, field investigations and prepare field inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes (OBC, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, CSA) and client standards.
