Job Description
Join Spencer Engineering as an Intermediate Mechanical Designer, utilizing your skills to enhance mine hoisting systems at BESTECH. This role offers a blend of design and fieldwork, with travel opportunities across North America.
Reporting to the Mine Hoist Engineering Manager, you will engage with an expert team to design and maintain complex hoisting systems integral to mining operations. While prior mine hoist experience is not essential, a strong foundation in mechanical design is crucial. Collaboration and hands-on field evaluations are key elements of this exciting role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and review design documentation and drawings
• Apply industry standards using AutoCAD and Inventor
• Collect data during site visits and inspections
• Coordinate project updates and client communications
• Assist with proposals and technical content
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology
• 4 to 7 years experience in similar roles
