You will take products from concept through production, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal and injection-molded plastic design. This position suits a hands-on, detail-oriented designer who collaborates closely with engineers on complex designs while independently owning smaller assemblies from initial design through validation.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to develop mechanical designs from concept through production release.
+ Create complex 3D CAD models, primarily using Creo, with occasional use of SolidWorks.
+ Translate engineering requirements into manufacturable mechanical designs.
+ Design and develop sheet metal components, injection molded plastic parts, and basic electronic packaging solutions.
