Mechanical Design Engineer

We are a subcontract manufacturing business serving the process engineering and food industries, and we are looking for a new member to join our design team.

What you will be doing:

• Producing detailed manufacturing drawings of systems, products and layouts from 3D models (fabrication and assembly drawings including BOM's)
• Align P&ID’s with 2D and 3D drawings
• Ensuring all drawing quality and continuity are up to company, customer and industry standards
• Making sure all drawing libraries and parts databases are up to date
• Working closely with the manufacturing department to ensure parts are manufactured to spec, and overcoming manufacturing problems
