Elevate manufacturing processes as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Skyjack Plant 2. This on-site role focuses on design support for production issues and engineering changes during the afternoon shift.
As a key member reporting to the Design Engineering Supervisor, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to tackle design and production challenges. Your expertise will enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency while identifying cost-saving measures. Expect a blend of on-the-floor assessments and design work at the computer, enhancing current products through continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: • Resolve production line issues collaboratively with multifunctional teams • Investigate and rectify bill of material discrepancies • Create concept, design, and production drawings • Identify cost reduction opportunities in processes and designs • Document all aspects of engineering projects thoroughly
