Mechanic (Heavy Equipment Mechanic)

Job Description

• Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking batteries and changing oil to ensure proper vehicle running.
• Service, repair and maintenance of a variety of automotive equipment such as container truck lifts, reach stackers, front end loaders, cranes and other special purpose types of equipment.
• Replace parts, valves, bearings and gears as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems.
• Maintain records of equipment repaired along with time spent on such equipment.

Qualifications

• Preferably have a Certificate from TESDA but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy machinery.
• Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
