Mechanic Class A FLOAT 561 (Niagara-on-the-Lake)

Shift: Monday to Friday Float - 45 hours/week with various shifts (50% travel between Burlington, Mount Hope and Brantford terminals).

Pay Rate: $45.21 per hour.

Location: 550 York Road, Niagara On The Lake, ON.

The Class A Mechanic inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and/or installs parts on delivery vehicles and equipment to ensure proper function and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair delivery and related vehicles to meet vehicle safety, operational, and productivity goals and standards.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs, order parts, document and update work orders, communicate with suppliers and operations, and more.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and report quality control issues (e.g., wipers not working) to determine their cause and identify if mechanical or general repairs or changes to the vehicle warranty are required.
