**Job Description**
This position is for a Machine Mechanic within a rebuilding and job shop, custom machine building environment. Employees will start by evaluating machines, breaking them down, determining root causes, problem-solving, and repairing and rebuilding equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair of used packaging machines.
+ Identify root causes of issues and implement repairs to ensure machines operate productively.
+ Utilize hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
+ Work with power tools such as power drills and impacts.
+ Read and interpret tape measures when necessary.
+ Assist with fabrication and production tasks.
+ Lift up to 50 pounds.
