Materiel & Logistic Planner (Evening Shift) (Valcourt)

Overview

Full time evening position, Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (with evening shift allowance)

Position: Material & Logistics Planner — plan, release and track the delivery of materials and parts needed for production; meet production schedules and minimize inventories using just-in-time principles. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams (material handling, transportation, procurement, engineering and quality assurance).

Responsibilities

• Plan and follow up on parts delivery
• Interact with suppliers and carriers to find creative solutions and avoid production shutdowns
• Analyze the best strategies to meet just-in-time objectives
• Manage commercial relationships with suppliers and negotiate in BRP's best interests
• Identify and coordinate areas of improvement in line with team objectives
• Establish recovery plans with suppliers and meet with them if necessary
