Materials Program Manager, MPM, Spare and Indirect Material

Overview

A Materials Program Manager (MPM) is responsible for end-to-end management of supplier performance and material availability to ensure uninterrupted factory operations. The MPM acts as the single point of accountability for supplier execution, inventory health, and readiness for future ramps, working cross functionally with factories, warehouses, planners, engineers, and procurement leadership. Supply chain commercial experience 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Translates manufacturing, market dynamics, and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to bills of materials risk assessment/mitigation, inventory health/optimization, streamlined/reliable supply chain and the total cost to business. Coordinates and monitors the acquisition of materials in support of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs/projects and ramp readiness for seamless transition to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
