Materials Planning Manager

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Materials Planning Manager located in Prai, Penang. Responsible for developing, directing and coordinating material planning activities with a focus on balancing supply and demand to enhance customer service levels.

Responsibilities

• Direct the team in the use of best practices in the daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning.
• Manage, coach and mentor a team; work with the team on continuous development and performance management.
• Guide planners to ensure inventory level and turnover goals are achieved, including reduction of backorders and enhanced customer service.
• Meet with senior management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast.
• Work with the team to modify the forecast for historical and environmental events.
