Job Description
Our Client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Materials Planner III for their Atlanta, GA/ Hybrid location. Responsibilities:
+ Plans, orders, and expedites materials needed in the manufacturing process.
+ Maintains proactive contact with suppliers to understand order status, packaging problems, and Electronic Data Interchange problems.
+ Provides information for affected cross-functional areas including shop operations, purchasing, Supplier Quality I, and product engineering.
+ Develops and maintains spreadsheets and databases to assist with responsibilities; analyzes data; audits pull signals and overall system performance; measures supplier delivery performance.
+ Implements production scheduling systems; coordinates inventory levels relative to manufacturing capacity and capability; compiles and schedules orders.
