Job Summary
The “Materials Manager” will be based in Perai. Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in material planning, distribution, inventory control, material research, purchasing and supply chain management by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning activities across the site.
- Manage, control, and direct the activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line.
- Manage, control, and direct staff to achieve Materials profit and loss goals, including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, by identifying suspicious material and ensuring proper handling, storage, and delivery.
