MATERIALS ENGINEER

Summary You will serve as a MATERIALS ENGINEER in the AIR VEHICLE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, MATERIALS ENGINEERING DIVISION of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will be required to either individually develop, or lead the development of, testing procedures to resolve the most complicated, critical in-service failure modes threatening the readiness of Naval aviation. You will develop and modifies their engineering efforts, objectives, and methodology in the course of planning and conducting their team’s work. You will provide engineering guidance, mentorship and technical direction to senior-level engineers locally and nationally in the understanding and proper application of new developed techniques and testing methodologies.
