Job Description

As a Material Handler at Steel Technologies, your main responsibility is to support our overall plant operations. In this role, you will have exposure to our finished goods and learn more about our customers and end product. Through general labor tasks and moving material and packing, this position will have potential for unlimited growth opportunities.
How you’ll contribute to our company:
Follow production information to prepare material according to customer specifications

Package material by operating turnstile, downlayer, banding line, overhead crane, and forklift

Accurately pull proper material from storage for transfer to storage area or to equipment as needed

Transfer material from machines to scales or to storage area as required

Maintain safe storage and handling of all material

Ensure proper handling procedures to prevent material damage
