Job Description
This role supports a large manufacturing facility in the Eastern Indianapolis area by safely and efficiently handling materials, moving products throughout the warehouse, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking. You will work on 2nd or 3rd shift after completing a structured training program on 1st shift, performing physically demanding tasks in a hot, dirty, and oily production environment.
Responsibilities
- Pull, pick, and pack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, handling approximately 1,000 boxes per person per shift.
- Use electric and manual pallet jacks and tuggers to move carts full of materials throughout the facility.
- Operate a sit-down forklift occasionally to move palletized products safely and efficiently.
- Physically push full carts containing 72 containers per cart, approximately 10 times per day.
