Job Description
Take command of a bulk carrier trading worldwide with OSM Thome. As Master you will lead the vessel and crew, ensure safe and efficient operations, and uphold the highest standards of seamanship and compliance.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Overall command of the vessel and crew
- Ensure safe navigation and cargo operations
- Maintain compliance with international and company regulations
- Oversee voyage planning, reporting and documentation
- Lead onboard safety, drills and emergency preparedness
- Manage crew performance, discipline and welfare
- Protect vessel, cargo and environment at all times
- **Requirements**:
- Valid Master (Unlimited) CoC
- Strong navigation, ship handling and cargo know-how
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Proven leadership skills and safety-first mindset
- Master must have valid STCW and BT PSSR Training certificate
- Must have valid US Visa
