Job Description
- Performs professional quality massage (e.g. Swedish, Shiatsu, etc.), within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
- Designs specific sessions based on members or guests individual needs.
- Consult with clients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage would be helpful.
- Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues in order to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries or wellness maintenance.
- Prepare and blend oils, and apply the blends to clients' skin.
- Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
- Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
- Performs hot stone, deep muscle or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours.
