Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

Provides tooling, equipment, process design, and ability to produce reviews, Lean leadership and other technical support for manufacturing processes in the Tupelo facility.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements and upgrades where appropriate. May develop capital expense requests and proposals for submittal.
• Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing to meet customer deliveries.
• Identify and implement waste reduction solutions as part of Continuous Improvement program.
• Participate on and implement preventive actions recommended by the Hazard Elimination Team.
• Lead selected Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve process flow.
• Conduct production/manufacturing reviews to ensure product designs are producible and cost effective.
