We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in automotive die casting. The ideal candidate will support daily production operations and play a critical role in new product launches. This position requires troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to manage equipment effectively in collaboration with tool design teams.
Responsibilities
+ Support daily production by attending morning meetings to discuss and resolve issues from the previous day.
+ Troubleshoot downtime and cycle time issues on the die casting side.
+ Assist in new product launches by identifying necessary equipment and writing Statements of Work (SOW) for the required equipment.
+ Obtain vendor quotes, negotiate terms, and prepare presentations for corporate approval of capital expenditures.
+ Manage equipment and collaborate on tool design to ensure successful new product launches.
