As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that designs are manufacturable, adhering to ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards. You'll also work to enhance processes, eliminate quality issues, and collaborate with suppliers to deliver conforming parts on time.
Responsibilities
+ Review and assess engineering drawings for manufacturability and proper dimensioning and tolerancing.
+ Collaborate with the design team to ensure compliance with standards.
+ Interface with vendors and suppliers to resolve manufacturing issues.
+ Work alongside the production and quality departments to address production, assembly, and inspection challenges.
+ Participate in first article inspection activities and vendor audits.
