Job Description
OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, quality, heat treat and customer service departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Designing tooling for cold/hot heading, secondary processes and gaging
o Troubleshooting manufacturing processes, machinery, tooling and gaging
o Initiating recommendations for tooling materials, speeds, feeds and equipment setup
o Researching capital appropriations for manufacturing equipment upgrades and replacements
o Providing effective recommendations for the improvement of operational methods to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality
o Assisting with quoting and costing activities
o Promoting and implementing continuous improvement programs
