Hedging & Financial Risk Management (Core Focus)
Identify, quantify, and monitor foreign currency and commodity exposures across projects and contracts. Design and implement structured hedging strategies (forwards, options) Evaluate hedge effectiveness and ensure compliance with Ind AS 109 (Hedge Accounting) requirements. Execute hedge transactions in coordination with FRM. Monitor MTM positions, hedge ratios, and exposure coverage; report variance and sensitivity analysis to management. Optimize hedge cost vs. risk coverage and provide timely advisory to management on market movements and strategy adjustments. Ensure documentation, compliance, and audit readiness for all hedging activities. Track global macroeconomic trends, interest rate movements, and commodity cycles impacting business exposures.
