Job Description
The Manager Clinical Nutrition Services role oversees clinical nutrition services and staff involved in the nutritional care of patients. It leads the Clinical Nutrition Committee. In collaboration with Medical Director, develops, implements and monitors selected nutritional care protocols and enteral formulary.
Establishes and maintains policies, standards and programs that will produce an effective clinical nutrition program. Maintains and updates the Nutrition Care Manual to reflect current nutritional trends. Contributes to the development and revision of the patient and dining room menus. Provides direction to staff relative to employee discipline, departmental policies and procedures, and general personnel policies.Supervises assigned personnel. Selects, counsels, prepares performance evaluations, and terminates according to policy.
