A Hong Leong Bank (HLB) branch manager is responsible for overseeing all branch personnel and daily operations while ensuring sales, profitability, and customer experience goals are met in compliance with banking regulations. Key Responsibilities The branch manager role involves a mix of financial, managerial, and operational duties.- Business Growth & Sales: Develop and implement sales plans, assess market conditions, and identify sales opportunities to achieve branch targets and expand the client base. This includes collaboration with various product partners like wealth management and trade services.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and manage branch staff performance. They provide coaching, development, and motivation to foster a strong, high-performing team environment.
