Job Summary
Manager, A&A Commercial and Small Business Underwriting – a permanent role that leads a regional team preparing credit proposals for small and medium‑size agribusinesses and food processing companies in Canada.
Closing Date: 07/21/2026. Language: English. Salary range: $107,780 - $145,820 plus performance‑based incentive.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and train a regional team of underwriters.
- Review loan narratives prepared by the team and provide detailed feedback before submission to Credit Risk.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and conciseness of credit narratives with a focus on risk mitigation.
- Act as liaison between Credit Risk, Operations, and sales teams.
- Support growth of the team’s skills in credit culture and lending policies.
- Foster an engaging, high‑performance work environment focused on collaboration and professional development.
