Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Travis Marina in Sausalito, CA. Physical Effort: Frequently lifts and moves materials and equipment weighing up 40 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lifts or moves heavier items with assistance. Eligible to use base facilities such as: the Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center. Tuition Assistance after one year! Responsibilities Uses and maintains tools and equipment. Utilizes hand and power tools such as, drills, power saws, routers, standard hand tools, straight edge, chalk line, tapes, rules, caulking irons, pipe wrenches, roller, putty knives, and paint brushes. Installs or repairs items such as, docks, doors, and boats in the Marina. Replaces or repairs windows, window screens, doors, door locks and other mechanical items.
