MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Summary You will serve as a Maintenance Supervisor in the Public Works Directorate of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will ensure that the work force, shops, and public works equipment are operating in accordance with all safety practices and procedures. You will use the Single Platform Maximo (SPM) work management system to produce recurring work schedules. You will develop general plans of execution for projects by combining the tasks for each trade into work segments and establishing a logical work sequence. You will make recommendations to solve staffing problems, engineering requirements, and the work operations directed by other supervisors. You will monitor work in progress to evaluate work methods and problems and take corrective action as needed to alleviate delays and loss of productivity and manage costs.
