Maintenance supervisor, concrete products (Altona)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Maintenance Supervisor, Concrete Products will drive and implement programs to ensure a more robust, cost‑saving, efficient, and safety‑focused plant maintenance system for our Concrete Products plants. The primary objective of this position is to create a proactive and preventative maintenance program.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Track overall maintenance costs and break down costs by categories such as parts and assets, using the software to pinpoint actions and assets that incur the highest costs.
• Meet repair deadlines and keep maintenance metrics (KPIs).
• Find areas for improvement and focus on proactive maintenance strategies, such as preventive and predictive maintenance, and explore opportunities to bring work in‑house (e.g., hiring a certified mechanic instead of paying a contractor).
• Innovate methods and equipment to improve safety and efficiency.
