Maintenance Planner

Position Purpose

The planner/scheduler position is responsible for assessing, monitoring and making recommendations to the Area Supervisor regarding the planning, scheduling and coordinating of labor, material and system resources for maintenance and operational activities. This position requires a working knowledge of pipeline operation and maintenance activities and knowledge of the planning, scheduling, procurement and the integrated management systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. The planner will be in charge of anticipated work order preparation such as:
   1. Work order analysis
   2. Diagnosis of the problem location
   3. Definition of required intervention (scope, operation and task list)
   4. Reservation of spare parts needed
   5. Identification of spare parts needed
   6. Identification of required skills (Trades people) to complete a job.
   7. Estimated time required for completion of jobs.
